" Ionia" by Susan Schroder
Ionia is celestial being with a story to tell. She summons the strength, courage, and grace of all women.
I was partly inspired by the famous 17th-century sculpture, " Mysterious Sphinx" by Charles Van der Stappen. I wanted to bring to life a fantastical warrior woman in a painting.
