&ldquo Athena&rdquo is an original 8&Prime x 10&Prime acrylic painting on gesso board. ************* The beautiful Greek Goddess of Wisdom and War, and daughter of Zeus. Originally she was said to have chosen a crow because of their intelligence, but changed to be accompanied by the wise owl after realizing her crow was a trickster. Athena&rsquo s owl would sit on her shoulder revealing unseen truths to her, as the owl can see through deceit. *************
