Mitchell was born in Turlock, California and raised in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. In the early age of 12, Mitchell knew he wanted to become an artist. Sketching on place mats, store receipts, school desks, and anything else that he could find. After high school, he enrolled in the Painting & Illustration program at the Luzerne County Community College. There he was introduced to the fundamentals of drawing and painting. After graduating with an Associate Degree, he has been accepted into the Ani Art Academy Waichulis  where he is currently studying.
