I received my masters degree from the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University. My work is inspired by traditional Chinese expressionistic sensibilities and western technology. I combine artistic expression and proceduralism to make my richly detailed and creative ideas possible.

I have received  the Master award and two Excellent awards in the EXPOSE series as well as the Rising Star of 2011 for ImagineFX, I was also nominated in the category of concept art for Spectrum 22.
