Inspired by his love of creatures, characters, monsters, and spirits, Dug Stanat began sculpting in the early 90s. Taking a twelve year detour to work at PDI/DreamWorks as a character technical director, Dug rigged faces for How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, Rise of the Guardians, Shrek 2 & 3, Madagascar 1 & 2, and The Bee Movie. On Halloween, 2013, he left DreamWorks to return to a life of sculpting. Dug's work is a book of untold stories bound by the search for wonder and humor in the face of horror.
