Infected by Art Book - Volume 8

I’ve been drawing for most of my life, starting when I realized crayons weren’t food. It’s been my primary way of exploring, processing, and reacting to the world around me, and a hobby I never outgrew (with apologies to my family). Although I’ve always had the dream of becoming a professional artist, I’ve only delved into the professional side for a few years now. I’ve had some experience with a few gallery showings (Vanderbilt Sarratt Gallery, Corvidae Collective) and some illustration work for various role playing game books (Pelgrane Press, FASA Games, etc.). along with private commissions, but I’m always looking to expand and collaborate on new projects.


I’ve had a life-long love for mythology, strange fiction, nature, and horror. I especially love illustrating fantastical creatures and monsters, be they metaphorical interpretations of the human psyche, or bizarre whimsies that have no actual “deep” meaning other than just to exist and be weird. To me, there’s a sort of honesty in depicting strange and often grotesque creatures, as we often cloak and distance parts of ourselves (or the world around us) that we don’t like or understand.
