Infected by Art Book - Volume 8

My work aims to crystallize moments of epiphany, using figurative art to explore the griefs and joys which shape us into the people we are becoming.

I paint ordinary immortals, people I am captivated by in everyday life. Placing real life humans in settings just outside of the expected gives a liminal, storybook atmosphere: an opportunity to journey between present reality and contact with our own formative experiences.

Most of my current work is in acrylic or pencil, with friends and family members as models.
