I am a self-taught traditional/digital freelance artist currently residing in the United States (New Jersey). I have been working mostly digital for the past eight years and have done covers for both digital magazines and print graphic novels.

I grew up reading non-mainstream comics like Heavy Metal, Vampirella, and Cousin Eerie, and being blown away by the amazing art made by the likes of Richard Corben, Frank Frazetta, Enki Bilal, and Esteban Maroto.  I also eventually fell under the spell of Arthur Rackham, Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali and the Brandywine School artists (especially Howard Pyle and N.C. Wyeth).

While I am a fan of graphic novel art, I have always been attracted to realism (and surrealism), so I enjoy producing realistic, character-driven art infused with symbolism that will hopefully resonate with the viewer.  I would love to say that always I try to explore deep themes about the human condition with my art, but in reality all I really want to do is come close to creating the type of art that inspired me in my youth.
