Adeline Martin was born in Normandy, France and lives today in Brittany’s countryside.
The themes feeding her imagination come from the Wild and Fantastic Stories. The feminine figure is often represented as ageless creatures or tragic beauties.
The sensory feeling and unbreakable nature are at the center of her work.
She loves to give shape to mythological or fantastic characters. Her favorite technic is graphite, allowing her to play with the subtilities of faces, her favorite part. She also embroids some drawings, associating art and craft in one piece. Other originals are enhanced with iridescent watercolor, offering different versions acording to the light.
