Born in 1983 in the suburban area of Canada’s national capital, Jerome Bertrand has been engaged in artistic creation for more than 15 years. His career began with the exploration of fine art media such as drawing, painting and sculpture. His talents and technical skills later gave him the opportunity to work as an assistant for multidisciplinary artists.

With a growing interest in multimedia art, he produced in 2007 a short film that would later be presented in several countries, including Switzerland, where it was featured at the Lausanne Underground Film Festival. One year later, he was offered a grant to work on a collage project. Over time, his passion for photography flourished.

Jerome uses the portrait to stage concepts. He directs his models in order to craft iconographic images. His mastery of light allows him to create dream-like atmospheres. This play on allegories serves as an instrument to communicate a feeling of exhilaration. Jerome’s goal is to convey his fantasies with remarkable technique.
