Gabrielle is a freelance illustrator working largely in pen and ink and from mythological and esoteric/occult inspirations. After graduating art school, believing she was meant to be an oil painter, she discovered duralar paper and the magic of pen and ink on that surface. While her work is often on various types of paper, she never looked back from pen and ink, and finds the idea of using line poetic.
Line mimics the personal journey, moving from the past to the future, mirroring her use of ancient mythology as inspiration for her work today.
