Joseph Bellofatto is a fine artist who works primarily in oils and graphite and currently resides in the DC metro area and is a member of The Maryland Federation of Art. His work is primarily that of 'imaginative realism' (heroic/romantic fantasy and mythological themes) and has appeared in art galleries across the US. A three time finalist in the Art Renewal Center’s annual Salon competition, several times selected to appear in the Infected By Art (IBA) yearly art annual. The artist is a member of Oil Painters of America (OPA), the International Guild of Realism (IGOR) and both organizations have selected his work for regional and national exhibitions.
