Infected by Art Book - Volume 11

Stephanie Smith has been working as an illustrator and a graphic designer for over 20 years and loves blending close observaton of nature with a sense of whimsy. Her preferred medium is ink, and watercolor, or digital art that emulates it, but she's always trying out new techniques. She loves fantasy art and book projects, and anything with animals and nature subjects. 

She loves narrative so much that for her bachelors degree she majored in both English Writing and Studio Art and spent much of her career working in science communications that included educational infographics and animations. She completed her MFA in Illustration at Towson University. When not illustrating, she works as a UX designer, is harrassed by her cats, and attempts to bring order to her houseplants and garden.
