About Jacqui Davis
Fan of history, stories & long walks
I’m Jacqui (or the Logic Fairy if you’ve ever tried to watch TV with me). I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to the UK as a kid.
I’ve been illustrating board games and books since 2012, after graduating from uni with a BA (HONS) in 2D Animation. As long as there’s a good audiobook or documentary on in the background I’m happy!
In autumn of 2023, I took part in Scott Fischer and Greg Manchess’s smArt class.
When I’m not painting, I enjoy keeping the creative mojo going by writing.
Speaking of which; I'm also the co-creator of Sul, an illustrated fantasy novel. It is an SPFBO9 semi-finalist, winner of BBNYA’s cover contest and was featured in Infected by Art - Volume 11. Check it out here : www.sulbook.com
