Drew Shenanmann

Drew Sheneman has been drawing professionally since 1998. Drew graduated from Central Michigan University with a BFA in illustration and cartooning internships at The Detroit News and Oakland Press under his belt. From there he went to work as an editorial cartoonist for The Star-Ledger, New Jersey's largest newspaper, where he stayed until 2010. Drew continues to draw for the Star-Ledger on a weekly basis, in addition, his cartoons are syndicated nationallythrough Tribune Content Agency (formerly Tribune Media Services). Drew has received a number of awards for his work including The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists John Locher Award, The Charles Schulz Award from The Scripps Howard Foundation and Two Deadline Club Awards from the New York Society of Professional Journalists. In addition to his editorial cartooning Drew has worked in commercial illustration for clients like Hasbro and Dungeons & Dragons. Drew currently resides in Bedminster, New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
