While earning an MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, I began working with paleontologists at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History to create that museum’s model dinosaur line. That project ran for over 25 years before going extinct, and led to similar work with Monterey Bay Aquarium and other institutions. Many eclectic projects have gone into the caldron of my career, from a ring of nine-foot angels in a church dome to fruit-scented squid erasers. I now focus on my own particular vision, largely expressed in sculpture.
