“At the moment of orgasm you grow wings, defy gravity and your soul slips quietly across the universe like a shooting star.” ― Chloe Thurlow La Petit Mort or Little Death means "the brief loss or weakening of consciousness" and refers specifically to the sensation of orgasm as a tiny dying of sorts. More specifically, this term has generally been interpreted to describe the post-orgasmic state of unconsciousness that some people have after having sexual climax. Some believe it is the short period of melancholy or transcendence as a result of the expenditure of life force. In my view, something so universal and primal would have a saint to represent it. Here is my interpretation!
