Torn Curtain (8" x 10") 300 dpi Wanted to create a painting from the point of view of an artist who saw the events unfold, to capture how an artist under those circumstances would symbolically depict the new world. The veil between the worlds is torn to shreds and what lies beyond is unknown, which explains the heavy use of black. The future is unclear as black-clad fortune teller stands before the shreds of reality and blends into the void between what is known and unknown.
