Description
Living in Japan and seeing the sakura bloom inspired me to draw this piece. The tiny shrine in the back was inspired by a camping trip I did last year in Yamagata. There was a little small hill near the camp site and at the top there was a cute shrine with a koi pond around it. It was so calm and peaceful. I took some photos and I was able to use it as reference for the background of this illustration.
