The Inner Demon of Nostalgia is one of the most nefarious demons I have incorporated into my series so far. Most people see this creature as a harmless fond glance back at times past- but there is a lot at work here that causes a person to forget the mistakes/problems along with any lessons those less-ideal aspects may have taught us. To paraphrase a famous horse: “When you look at something through rose-tinted glasses, all the red flags just look like flags . . . “
