Description

Painted by Sandra Chang-Adair, this artwork was influenced by the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz. Sandra wanted to re-imagine the characters from L. Frank Baum as beautiful women in the Steampunk genre.

In this image, Sandra tried to really focus on the lioness' face, trying to make the blending as smooth as possible and her features very lovely. She was influenced by modern digital artists, Melanie Delon and Linda Bergkvist. The lioness is wearing the Cowardly Lion Badge as a choker. The goggles on her head are reminiscent of ears (kind of like Cat Woman in the last Batman movie)
