This Illustration is based on Roza Shanina, a young sniper in the red army during world war II. Roza had 59 confirmed kills and was referred to as "the unseen terror of East Prussia" and She became the first servicewoman of the 3rd Belorussian Front to receive the Order of Glory. Shanina was killed in action during the East Prussian Offensive while shielding the severely wounded commander of an artillery unit. She was 20 years old.
