Description

Hel, goddess of the Underworld in Norse mythology. Half dead, half alive, Hel rules over Helheim. Her domain is a realm of cold, hunger and famine. The final destination for those who die of sickness and of old age. Carvings on her throne represent her siblings: Fenrir, the wolf and Jörmungandr, the world serpent. All of them are children of the god trickster Loki and giantess Angrboða. Hel Dressed in black 2019 (originally dressed in white).
