This scratchboard drawing was inspired by a chat with the writer Alexander Williams. We talked about gender roles, which led to the Simpsons episode with Malibu Stacy and the ice cream quote, and about fairies whom he describes as insect-like. In the end we had an argument about wasps, he dislikes them, while I find them very fascinating.
