Rhimeus only wanted to defend his people. The land was turning to ash and the beast continued to destroy all that was precious to them. The only salvation was to sacrifice himself for the sake of others. The Phoenix persisted, but was unable to defeat Rhimeus. As they fought, their souls merged into one and they turned to dust, vanishing into thin air and with them the horror that had destroyed Rhimeus' beloved land...
