Description
For quite some time, I had been wanting to do a piece with Centaurs in it, but I wanted it to be "Original" (which is an incredibly hard thing to do nowadays). As I put that on the back-burner of my mind, I was flipping through television channels when I saw a herd of Zebras (some documentary about African wildlife), and... I couldn't stop the smile from spreading across my face. I had my answer! So,... "ZULU HOUR" was born. This Zulabra is, of course, patterned after both a zebra AND after the African Zulu Warriors. I hope you enjoy this piece. It's a mixture of pen & ink, colored pencils, Prismacolor art markers, watercolors AND digital enhancements via Adobe Photoshop. I decided to accent the figure by having him standing slightly out of the picture (not confined by it). I think it worked out well. I hope you enjoy it. :-)
