Description
Part of FLuX's exhibition, Lightning in a Bottle. Lightning in a Bottle is a collection in progress consisting of 10 oil on canvas works, where the artist combines classical realism with hyper colored visuals to recreate the lives and work of the forgotten from our collective past. He was originally inspired by his own personal family lineage, which consisted of steel workers, seamstresses, and coal miners. His aim is to utilize the juxtaposition of bright shapes against the stark black and white of these images to pose new questions and tell new stories.
