Description
I attended Sam Weber's mentorship this year and this was created for the Conceptual Portrait lessons. This is an interpretation of a vampire who's intoxicating, seductive and murderous. Beautiful and ugly at the same time. I added the distortion through the glass to connote his twisted nature. All his teeth are filed sharp since he wasn’t born with fangs. Sam suggested for me to give it personality through its details, so through my sgraffito technique I etched in tiny skulls and Fleur de Lis wallpaper as his background, probably my fav part of the piece.
