Location: Montreal, Canada

“Song of the Dolphins”, a healing story about the precious friendship between a dolphin deformed by marine pollution and an ordinary autistic child. I used different techniques and materials on wooden board to create this painting/illustration, including resin, plaster relief, oil paint, gold gilding, etc, as I wish to convey the deep, mysterious, inclusive and warm blue poetic power of the ocean, and the precious gold-like friendship between the dolphin and the autistic child. Finally I used 3D modeling via computer to enhance the thickness of the relief and the glossiness of the gilding.
