Description
Mixed media sculpture "Tortopian" is a wise old giant slow moving tortoise. She was born from the fragments and debris that remained after we nearly destroyed our planet. Over hundreds of years she evolved into an entire world of her own. She serves as a home to other beings that sought refuge and those in the middle of their own transformation. Sculpted in polymer clay, apoxie, resin stiffened fabric and natural findings, crystals (quartz, amethyst, black kyanite) driftwood, bones, pine cone pieces, twigs and acrylics.
