Won't you take a ride.... on Heavy Metal! In September 2022 Greg was asked if he would create a cover for Heavy Metal, although this time it wouldn't be for the magazine itself, but for a retrospective on the history of the Heavy Metal Magazine. Having already created several covers for the magazine, Greg was both honored and thrilled at the opportunity. This epic fantasy painting is packed with Easter eggs galore.
