Cover for the illustrated edition of Dune: Messiah by Frank Herbert, published by The Folio Society. This image depicts Alia Atreides dressed in ceremonial garb as the head of the empire's religious wing. Her rites and rituals strengthen the symbolism around her brother, Paul Muad'Dib, whose adopted name is the Fremen term for desert mouse.
