Filipino culture is strongly rooted in oral tradition; passing down wisdom through stories where in their simplest forms become folktales and songs. Here is a representation of Lola Basyang as a seasoned narrator who imparts her stories to the next generation of storytellers. The youth inheriting the little fire of wisdom from the past. Both parties openly face each other with warm smiles, their hands delicately holding on the little candle as it moves between them.
