Longing to feel his embrace, she takes solace in feeling him all around her... if even for just a few days a year. The Widow is a multimedia piece, sculpted with polymer clay and handmade glass eyes. Her dress was created from (my grandmother's) vintage, hand dyed scarves, and adorned with various colored microbeads. Her hair is Tibetan Lambs wool with mulberry paper flower headpiece. She would be 7 inches if standing.
