Projects: I had solo with Glave Kocen Consulting in December of 2023 where I partnered with the Virginia Department of Recreation and Conservation to hightlight endangered Virginia animal and plant species (first sold out show). I had a solo this year (April 2024) with Revolution Gallery Gallery, as well as being in numerous group show with galleries like Robert Lange Studios, Arch Enemy Arts, and Modern Eden. I' m currently preparing for a solo in March of 2025 with LeMieux Gallery. I have also freelanced with Red Orange Studio for several Wasserhund beer label illustrations. In 2022 through Venture Richmond, I painted the Richmond Folk Festival poster and designed the Hardywood Folk Festbier.
Location: Richmond,VA, USA24in. x 24in. acrylic and oil on cradled wood panel. Taking inspiration from Dutch Renaissance trompe l'eoil window paintings, I created a piece that imagines what a squirrel's portrait would look like in a domestic Dutch 17th-century scene. There is no frame for this piece, allowing the image to continue onto the sides of the cradled panel and enhancing the illusion of the scene.
