Description
“Spring Nocturne” celebrates the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Rabbit in a vivid environmental context. The scene is inspired by the Sonoran Desert in full bloom with animals likely to be seen at dusk. The rhythmic qualities of repeating elements and sweeping cactus-studded hills adds to the sense of movement and “musical” qualities of this piece.
