Originally, the working title for this piece was "The Lure." I was playing around with the idea of a belly dancing android that flummoxed and bewitched with her unearthly charms. Partly, that was inspired after reading "The Windup Girl" by Paolo Bacigalupi. I changed the name later to "Scheherazade."
