Illustration based on a Japanese horror story written by me called 'Keiko Among The Koi'. In short it is about a little girl named Keiko who has to move away from the city to a new strangely cheap yet lavish home in a small village in the five lake region of Japan close MT. Fuji. Lonely, shy, and neglected by her parents Keiko finds solace in the koi pond in the backyard, even after nearly drowning in it at first after being scolded by her father. After a series of events Keiko becomes attached to the koi fish in the pond and mysterious forces start to influence her as she believes she can hear the koi calling to her. With Keiko ignored and with removal of the pond threatened by her parents. A night of sinister demonic supernatural terror involving the koi of the pond ravages the family. Killing the Keiko's parents as she is then taken into the pond to join them. To be forever among the cursed koi as one of them in spirit. The cause of this phenomenon shrouded in mystery and secrecy...
