Description
An eye study done as a "speed paint" (at least a speed paint when compared to most of my oil paintings). I photographed my wife's eyes with my phone and a 10x eye loupe, then photo-shopped a photo of her right eye over a crazed white porcelain door knob as my reference. I didn't bother to sketch much on the canvas other than a few reference circles before starting to paint.
