Description
This piece was inspired by clip of a story, "The Awakening of Insects." In the story, a scientist discovers (on a new planet full of bugs and strange plants) flashes of intense heat that destroy things in their wake. During her investigation, she begins to realize the flashes want to show her something; they invade her mind/vision and use animals living on the planet to make a living map. The flashes and bugs themselves turn into coordinates as if the planet is trying to communicate.
