Projects: I'm currently working on a project titled "Phinite" in the form of a comic. It has an initial sequential underwater theme (Mission Start, Depth 130 Meters, In Her Presence, The Stingmaid, Snapping Serpent, Phinite Vol. 1, and Eliana are images belonging to this universe). Check out my website for the latest in its development.

Description

This is the third image in a triptych made as a part of a "what if" series centering on my great grandfather born in late 1800s of Swedish heritage. In life, Olaf was an accomplished scull racer for the national team of Sweden and was an Olympic reserve candidate in his prime. In this image, I thought of what he might do if it were a different career, and I thought, with the likelihood and wishful thinking of myself that he could become a dj/producer of electronic dance music. My reasoning being that the Nordic countries have a huge influence over the ever-changing music scene across music genres. Ostinato which is in the title and the drawing itself means "repeated phrase or musical pattern", which is a common element is dance music. This image was a lot of fun to create.
