He became a mirror of himself, a creature untethered from light and order and rules. He kept company with his shadow. He ran wild with the beasts and all became his playthings. Ageless, the tides of time passed and left him after lifetimes, with the wonder of a child; with the viciousness of a child. There was no reality now, beyond his own imagining.
