One of the most iconic creatures in fantasy is the enduring image of the mermaid. I wanted to change the iconic imagery to something not often seen, a jellyfish lady with a nearly transparent body. Jellyfish are barely there, their ethereal forms capture our attention, as they seem lighter than air floating to the ocean's surface.
