Description
" Nine Tailed" acrylic/linen, 16x12, is one of the pieces that I did for the inaugural show, " Origins" , at Hinge Artist Collective. They were kind enough to invite me to be a member, and I happily accepted. This painting was inspired by a wonderful K-drama that I watched called " Tale of the Nine Tailed" . I' d never heard of such creatures before, but apparently they are lesser spirits from Chinese mythology that can take the form of attractive and seductive humans, and then they get up to all sorts of wily mischief, most of which does not end well for the humans that they prey upon.
