Description
(This was a piece originally intended for Fymos, but I decided to cut it.) Inspired by people in the shade of giant planes during the San Diego air show. People attempt to avoid the sun for the entire day with opaque umbrellas. " Noondancers" dance with such umbrellas and wear photo-reactive clothing. They attempt to shield themselves from the sun at all times during the dance, and if they slip up, it shows on their costume. (This kind of dance really only works when the angle comes from directly above.) (2012)
