Illustration for my Patreon and my second big foray into using Paintstorm Studio. Loving the program. My patrons get to see WIP shots and vids of me working. So this one is kind of an extreme composition so I' m curious to see how it' s received. Recently for some business stuff I was researching what the reach of my artwork is on the internet. I found that several of my pieces featuring African Americans were being shared to forums, sub-reddits and tumblrs just because of that. Frankly that' s a little depressing that it' s rare enough to be the appeal. So I thought I' d start trying to remember that just because I pose for my ref doesn' t mean they should all be white.
