Description
16 x 12 oil on canvas. The cliffs of Verona Rupes are on the moon Miranda which orbits Uranus. They are thought to be 12 miles high. For comparison, Mount Everest is only 5.5 miles high. Miranda is primarily made of ice with a rocky core.
