A " forbidden" love deep in the South of the US during the 1920' s led to this man' s demise as he was hung by a group of evil, racist men for he dared to love a woman of a different colored skin than his and she loved him. This image shows the darkness in men and according to legend around Charleston, SC' s islands, there is more to the story for now his ghost is said to haunt the woods of one particular Island - Wadmalaw Island and people say sometimes while driving near the area he was hanged, you can either see him walking down the old dirt road or hanging from the tree.
