This is a personal work, originally intended to be a MTG-geared portfolio piece (Blue/white land card). I painted it as part of an ongoing livestream demo.

It' s inspired by the Italian Renaissance, this is Venice-like city featuring a rudimentary " hydro-arcane power" - useful magic generated by the kinetic energy of the surrounding waterfalls. This, in addition to a strategic trading location, has made the city very wealthy.
