The falcon-winged scarab god, Khepri, whose name means " to emerge" or " to come into being" , is an aspect of the sun. Associated with rebirth, the dawn, and the rising sun, it was believed that he rolled the sun across the sky, as scarab beetles roll dung-balls along the ground. Khepri, 2019
